Is HourAndBill really free?
Yes. No license fee, no trial period, no card, no account. Download it, install it, bill your clients with it. Updates are free too.
Why is it free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. We are building HourAndBill in the open with early users: your feedback shapes the product. The program stores everything on your own PC, so it costs us nothing to run — there are no servers behind it.
Will it start charging me later?
No. The program you install today stays free and keeps working. If we ever offer paid extras in the future, they will be optional — nothing you use now will start asking for money.
What do I get right now?
The Early Access Preview: the real program with the timer, clients and matters, time entries and the invoice screen. Some features are marked as coming in the full version, which will also be free. Preview users hear about updates first.
